Just in time for the holidays, we have added a 2 year old  gifts category on GIFT HERO.  People have been asking us to add gifts for babies and toddlers from the very beginning, and so we are pleased to offer a great selection of new finds for the younger set. We have included blocks, books, pretend play sets, vehicles, music and more.

One of my favorites is the Mailbox Fill & Spill by Melissa & Doug, pictured here.  It comes with enough stuff to play with, including removable “stamps” to keep kids busy for hours, opening and closing the mailbox. It even comes with a “birthday present” in a mailing box.

Other favorites include the Chubbies Bucket of vehicles for 2 year old boys. It contains 15 four inch vehicles to keep boys busy all day long – inside, outside, even in the tub.  For 2 year old girls, check out the ABC Lacing Sweets by Learning Resources.  It is a fun way for girls to develop fine motor coordination and build awareness of letters while creating their own unique design.

There are even some gifts that are also appropriate for children younger than two years in this category  - just look for the age recommendation provided for every product. For example, if we say ages 12 months and up, that means the manufacturer recommends this product as appropriate for that age and older.
